New page

==Full Title or Definition==
When a large majority of the voters selects one result.
==Context==
==Solutions==
===Medical===
2025-06 Microsoft introduced a powerful new medical AI system that diagnoses patients like a team of expert doctors, and it’s 4 times more accurate than humans.

The system is called MAI-DxO.

It combines several powerful AI models like GPT-4, Gemini, Claude, LLaMA, and Grok.

These models basically “talk” to each other, analyzing symptoms, suggesting tests, and working through possible diagnoses until they agree on the most likely one.

It’s designed to work the same way real doctors do when they team up on a tough case.

In a test using 304 difficult medical cases from the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), the AI got the correct diagnosis 85 percent of the time. Human doctors, in comparison, only got it right 20 percent of the time.

The AI also saved money by avoiding unnecessary tests, reducing costs by about 20 percent.

Experts are calling this an important step toward something called “𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦,” where AI becomes smart enough to truly help with complex medical decisions.

Microsoft’s AI leader, Mustafa Suleyman, says the system’s strength comes from having multiple AI models work together like a team.

That said, some researchers believe more testing is needed in real hospitals with actual patients. In this study, doctors weren’t allowed to use any tools or references, which isn’t how they normally work.

Still, the results are promising and show how fast AI is changing the way we approach medicine.

This kind of technology could one day help doctors diagnose patients more accurately, more quickly, and at a lower cost.

==Minority Report==
A science fiction story by Philip K. Dick, is a futuristic thriller set in Washington D.C. in the year 2054.

A specialized police unit called PreCrime uses three psychics—known as Precogs—to foresee murders before they happen. This allows law enforcement to arrest perpetrators before they commit the crime, effectively eliminating murder in the city.

But sometimes 2 of the 3 precogs agree that a crime will be committed and one issues a minority report. A paranoid populous seems to be OK with that, but what about the errors?
