Full Title or Meme
One of the sources of user Attributes is that of the user's Behavior during connections.
Context
There are a large number of User Behaviors that could be tracked; here are some examples:
- Pages views, can be used to slot users into categories for marketing advertisements.
- Mechanical use of the devices, whether laptop or palmtop.
- For palmtop devices there will typically be a motion sensor that can be used to maintain an authenticated user session.
- For a laptop (or desktop) device the user's mechanical typing can be tracked to see if it meets past behaviors.[1]
Problem
If the Users Behavior is tracked and stored, it is considered to be processing of the sort that falls under the purview of the GDPR and other Privacy regulations.
