Full Title or Meme

A web accessible place where a human can create a collection of their personal identity elements that is accessible anywhere there is connectivity.

Context

This was an idea that existed before the web was invented and took the form of personal internet message boards or blogs that could be accessed anywhere and originally by anyone. Most of these sites were only changeable by the owner and had some private space as well as the public space. The advent of the HTML web made the entire process of providing a web site much simpler than a straight sever with and IP address and so these web sites proliferated rapidly.

Content

The content maintained in a Personal Cloud Store could be in the form of a blog or wiki or any combination of frequently updated material. Once content needs to be frozen and dated for archival or legal purposes the work of the Content C2PA Steering Committee available on Amazon] might be a good approach.

Solutions

Cloud Backups

By far the simplest solution is to just backup your files in the cloud.

Later large sites like Google and Microsoft started to allow a limited amount of free cloud storage with sophisticated permissioning and editing features.

IPFS

The Interplanetary File Store is an open source fully distributed means to make an individual's content always available online.
