Full Title or Meme
A name, possibly including a graphic, that is used as an Identifier used in trade.
Context
- This page covers the use of legal and common trademarks, trade names, service marks and similar.[1]
- In many cases the trademark may be more familiar to users than the legal name of the company, and so more representative for any trust relationship.
Problems
Even when a trademark is legally registered, Fair Use terms may apply and so the mark cannot considered to be definitive except by context.
