Full Title
A partial list of the certificates issued to natural people by the US government with a focus on those that could be digitized.
This page considers certificates that are issued by the US Government as well as credentials that are created and signed by applicants.
Context
- Various components of the US Federal Government are actively investigating the advantages to be gained by digitized certificates that here-to-fore were only available in paper form.
- These components may have some forms that can be fill out online, but some require proof that they were submitted by the Subject or an authorized delegate. This function can be handled in the future by computer device that are able to attest to the presence of the user and affix a signature block to the signed application from the Subject.

This list is to establish codes that can be used in the table below.
