For Identity and Access Management Subscriptions are a regular recurring fee typically including a fixed monthly fee and optional fees that users can add to increase their access to particular goods or services. Costco and Amazon Prime are good examples.

User Experience

Most Authorization to access resources has be build on the Authentication of one Subject that has an Access List to previously granted Permissions. This model does not work well for an environment where any collection of individuals are view (or listening to) protected content.
