This work is used in the wiki to take the place of the commonly, but mistakenly, used terms Identity Management or Identity and Access Management.
Context
From the time of the creation of SAML the term Identity has been misused to indicate the Identification of an Entity. To be clear, the Identity of any Subject or Object is inherent in that Entity and cannot be "Managed".
