A cable that consists of a central conductor surrounded by insulation and a conductive braid around the outside.

Context

  • The RG-6 cable is a 75 Ohm cable with F-Type connectors. This is the same cable used with many cable/satellite TV devices
  • The original LAN cable used N-Type connectors.
