The web as we know it will collapse into the fairly simple content acquiring network that Tim BL originally proposed. All the web 2 and web 3 stuff will wither away to be followed by just a bunch of agents sharing information in a highly encoded form that humans will not understand directly. It could be that Tim BL just declares this to be the semantic web that he predicted, but that will be a stretch.

Context

Some of us have be trying to create a policy language that will be sent from a user agent to the web agent soup. The policy could be called intent, which would allow us to call this the intention web rather than the hashtag#agent-internet, but that is just a semantic label. My terms is based on the idea of users and vendors. That idea will be obsoleted by the richness of the agent policy interchange. My terms is just too little too late to be of much interest.
