Overload

Vincent Annunziato Director at Customs & Border Protection 2024-07-02

Friends/Colleagues - As of late I am overwhelmed with requests to review product for government use. As much as I would like to develop long-standing and fruitful relationships with everyone who reaches out, it is obviously an impossibility. As a general rule I will only take meetings based on personal reference and will not respond to cold inquries.

So, with that said if you wish to engage with the Business Transformation and Innovation Division (BTID) team then you can do so by inquiring at https://www.cbp.gov/ which is open to the public.

Please use the following guidelines to help you navigate the process:

  1. Research and understand CBP's Office of Trade (OT) mission
  2. Communicate how your product can enhance the OT mission
  3. BTID will not accept inquiries that are relegated to: ideas/concepts
  4. Don't ask for further referrals (if we see promise the team will direct you)
  5. If your inquiry is accepted, BTID will respond with next steps and if the team is not interested, then we will thank you for your efforts
